About me
My name is Salvatore Fresta, aka Drosophila, I'm 20 years old and currently I live in Crema (CR), near Milan (Italy), for study, but my native city is Catania.
My interests are in information tecnology and wired/wireless comunications.
During the high school, I compared my interests and my knowledges with others guys and teachers. Although I studied Computer Science at school I built my own knowledge as an autodidact. I learned reading books, ebooks and coding software.
Using almost only GPL operating systems and softwares, such as GNU/Linux and *BSD, I learned very much by reading source codes, C code in particular, my favourite programming language. This hobby captures yet my free time.
As everyone can understand watching the informations in this personal website, I have particular interests in security flaws. I am specialized in the auditing and exploiting of web/system applications, but I extend my security interests in many other fields such as networking.
During my security experience, I've tested many applications, also governmental, founding many security flaws. My etic is to comunicate the security flaw(s) but sometimes, because of behavior of some peoples or for too few free time, I don't do it.
Although my real interests are in information tecnology, I have others hobbies such as playing Kung Fu Wushu (since 2001), watching films and reading books.
